    The April 2024 ADA updates reinforce the requirement that public entities, including George Mason University, provide fully accessible digital experiences by adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards by April 2026.

Both the SiteMasonry and Mason WordPress themes meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 standards. To maintain digital accessibility text, images, videos, audio, and documents must be formatted to meet WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
