Body
Multiple drafts in a page's version history may block edits, causing Drupal (the SiteMasonry CMS "operating system") to return a permissions error, even for an editor with normal editing rights. Removing the extra draft typically restores access.
Steps to resolve
- Open the page and select the Revisions tab.
- Review the revision list for more than one Draft.
- Delete the past draft revisions, keeping only the published revision. Do not select Publish on an unfamiliar draft, since that can push outdated content live.
- Reopen the page after the extra drafts are removed to confirm edit access has been restored.
How to avoid this issue
- Only one draft per page at a time.
- Publish or delete an existing draft before starting a new round of edits.
