Google Map block

What are Google Map blocks?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Similarly, a map widget can be more helpful to your audience than a static address. To that end, the ability to embed a Google Map is baked into SiteMasonry.

When creating a Google Map block, you will be asked to input a location. You do not need to know an exact address for well known locations. Entering "George Mason University," for example, gets you the university's main address.

If you notice any errors in the Google Map for any George Mason location, please let us know. If we know who manages the listing, we may be able to get a correction made.

Examples of Google Map Blocks

Google Map blocks adjust in width depending on the size of the space they are placed into. This can create a variety of looks to accent your page.

Please be aware that the layouts displayed here are using the column layouts of SiteMasonry pages. On mobile, columns stack to uniform width, creating a different experience. Keep this in mind when designing your pages!
